Making a clear boundary between home and work

The boundary between work and home can be very blurred these days. Mobiles and email means that it is easier to work from home but they can also mean you are never out of contact.  We all need to be clear to colleagues about the times when we are or are not available and set aside none- work times.  Developing a routine to move from work to out-of-work and vice versa can be helpful too.  However much you love your work, spending uninterrupted time with family and friends or just having some time to yourself is critical to keeping the balance in your life – you won’t regret it.  Remember, there has never been a recorded case of someone on their deathbed wishing they had spent more time at work!
